La Salut

La Salut is one of the neighborhoods that make up the Gràcia district, in the northwest of Barcelona. In the neighborhood there are Sant Josep de la Muntanya monastery and the world-famous Parc Güell, a work by Gaudí that fuses elements built with the nature of the park itself and which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984. Along the strip South of the neighborhood runs the Travessera de Dalt, which functions as the axis of the southern part of the neighborhood. Given the narrowness of many of the streets in the neighborhood, it is more advisable to use the bus or go to the nearest metro stations (Vallcarca and Lesseps).
