Quart de Poblet
Quart de Poblet it is a municipality in the Valencian Community, Spain. Belonging to the province of Valencia and the region of Huerta Oeste. It has 24,944 inhabitants.
Quart de Poblet has abundant leisure areas, most of them located around San Onofre avenue, and others dedicated to cultural entertainment, parks and green areas and sports. The main crops are irrigated: orange trees, pear trees, vegetables, onions, potatoes, etc. Cereals, vines, carob trees and olive trees are grown on dry land.
Quart has an important industrial estate that occupies a large part of the territory of the town.
The cuisine of Quart de Poblet is typical of the region of l'Horta, in which rice dishes of very varied types predominate, it stands out for rice dishes and their different variants, the most representative dish being paella.
