Alcúdia ciudad
The city walls of Alcúdia, the capital of Mallorca during Roman times, are one of the most visited monuments on the island. Its old town, limited by the immense gates, offers a beautiful route through narrow, cobbled streets and even through some sections of its restored walls where you can visit its lively cafés, shops, museums and stately homes. The Tuesday and Sunday markets are particularly lively and crowded. Summer festivals, historical routes, art galleries and the neighbouring Port d'Alcúdia delight residents and visitors alike.
