La Albufereta

La Albufereta is a neighbourhood in the Spanish city of Alicante. Its beach has dark sand and calm waters. It is located northwest of the city of Alicante (Valencian Community, Spain), in an urban area (in the neighbourhood of the same name) and has services throughout the summer season. There is also rainwater discharge through the mouth of the Joncaret ravine.

It has a population of 52,852 inhabitants and a population density of 3,788 inhabitants per square kilometre.
