Es Mercadal

Situated in the centre of the island of Menorca, Es Mercadal this is a town that in 2023 had almost 6000 inhabitants. In the village there is a small artisan and family-run shipbuilding industry. A large part of the municipality's territory has been declared a protected natural area by the Parliament of the Balearic Islands. The coastline has two natural harbours, Fornells and Addaia.
