Galapagar
Galapagar is a municipality in the northwest of the Community of Madrid, 33 kilometers from the center of Madrid. It extends over an area of 65km2 and borders Torrelodones, Las Rozas, El Escorial, Villanueva del Pardillo, among others...
It is located in the foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama, predominantly Mediterranean forest with holm oaks, pines, ash trees and rockroses. A luxury to live in the middle of nature and just 30 minutes from the capital.
With a population of approximately 30,000 people, the vast majority live in urbanizations around the urban core. Particularly noteworthy are La Navata, where the train station is located, and Colonia España.
Two train stations in its vicinity, La Navata and San Yago and a multitude of bus lines to reach Atocha, Chamartín, Príncipe Pío, Sol, Villalba, El Escorial, Cercedilla, and Madrid Airport.
