Masamagrell
Masamagrell is a municipality in the Valencian Community, Spain. It belongs to the province of Valencia, in the Huerta Norte region, 15 kilometers from the provincial capital. It is an urban center with all the services, preserving its typical charm of the Valencian orchard. Its Parish Church of San Juan Apóstol y Evangelista stands out or, a little further from the center, the magnificent Capuchin Convent of Santa María Magdalena and the Convent of the Capuchin Tertiaries. From Massamagrell you can tour the Valencian orchard thanks to the Vía Xurra bike path, on a flat and simple route through which you can admire the exceptional landscape of ditches and vegetable fields. And there are more options for nature lovers, such as seeing its marsh up close, next to Massamagrell beach. Massamagrell has a great beach, with coarse sand and very calm, surrounded by the marsh and the fields. It is a perfect place to relax in the sun or take a dip in the Mediterranean. As for its festivities, in San Antonio delicious cauldrons are cooked and at the Virgen del Rosario Festival the population goes out to the streets to celebrate their big days.
