Molins de Rei
Molins de Rey is a Spanish municipality and town in the province of Barcelona, in Catalonia. Belonging to the Baix Llobregat region. It is part of the metropolitan area of Barcelona. The place name Molins de Rey has its origin in some old royal mills (in Catalan, molins), documented as early as 1188. These mills were built by order of Alfonso II el Casto and were the origin of the population center. In 1208 it already had a parish church and a cemetery.
