The increase in the average price was 7.85% in the first six months of this year compared to the last six of 2017; in the second quarter it was 3.97% compared to the first three months of this year, and the increase was 0.75% this June compared to May.
The city where the average rental price is highest is Barcelona (1,796 / m2), followed by Madrid (1,725 / m2) and San Sebastián (1,405 / m2).
By Autonomous Community, the highest average prices are in Madrid (1,395 / month), Basque Country (1,126 / month) and Balearic Islands (1,109 / month), while the lowest in Extremadura (440 / month), Castilla-La Mancha ( 497 / month) and Galicia (562 / month).
The greatest increase in the interannual rate was in Catalonia, of 24.3% and in no community the prices fell, while compared to the previous six months there was the greatest increase in the Valencian Community, of 18.93%, and there were decreases in Asturias, of 1.58% and in Extremadura, of 0.47%.
By provinces, the highest average price this June has been reached in Madrid (1,395 euros per month), Guipúzcoa (1,393 / month) and Barcelona (1,152 / month) and the lowest in Teruel (389 euros per month), Cáceres (405 / month) and Ciudad Real (406 / month).
From one year to the next, the highest increase was in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (23.73%) and the highest decrease in Córdoba, of 18.06%, while in the first semester compared to the second of 2017 the greatest increase was in Castellón (19.78%) and the most marked decrease was that of Córdoba, of 10.82%.
