San Agustín
San Agustín was born as a link between Cala Major, belonging to Palma, and Cas Català, already in the municipality of Calvià. It extends from Calanova towards the interior and the mountains, ensuring that many of the residences in the area have sea views. In addition to the nearby beach of Cala Major, it has four more coves of rock and sand, the most popular being those of Calanova and Buganvilia. The residential value of San Agustín is always on the rise, reinforced by its excellent location just 15 minutes from the center of Palma, a target for high-end developers due to its easy and quick access to the southwest motorway, the transport connections public and the quality of its social, health and tourist infrastructures. Its façade on the seafront and its part of the mountains makes it a very popular neighborhood, especially among peninsular residents and foreigners: San Agustín has an international community of residents who find here everything they can dream of for their vacations and during all the year, with the center of Palma 15 minutes away by car, and the Porto Pi shopping center just five minutes away, as well as the Bellver castle. The Calanova national school and sailing club stand out, along with the trendy little cafes, restaurants and international schools, splendid hotels, and charming hostels, or the Marivent Palace, as well as Cas Català and Illetes to the west, with their beaches and shops, and the Royal Bendinat Golf Club and the beautiful inland mountain town of Gènova, both just a five-minute drive away.
