Housing prices in July experienced the largest year-on-year increase this year and increased in Spain by 3.7% compared to the same month in 2016. The data is supported by the results of large cities, which have boosted the appreciation of Real estate with increases of 6.4% as indicated by the latest monthly report on the sector prepared by Tinsa.
These figures also coincide with the notable increase in the sale of housing in the first half of the year, an activity that according to INE data has grown more than 13% over the first six months of 2016. In the main cities, Place above that average with special incidence in Barcelona, which gets 18.8% with 27,515 transactions.
Another of the cities that surpasses the national registers is Valencia, where the sale of real estate has surpassed 16% thanks to the good business data of used homes, 20.8% higher than the one counted between the months of January and June of the year past. In Madrid, also, the variations have reached an increase of 15.5% in the first half of 2017 with a total of 35,515 operations.
