Valldoreix

Valldoreix is one of the largest neighborhoods in Sant Cugat in terms of occupied area. It is located in the western part of the city, at the foot of the Collserola natural park. It is a neighborhood of single-family houses, many of them luxury. At the beginning of the last century, Valldoreix was a second home town on the outskirts of what is now the Collserola park. Today it is a residential neighborhood for the upper class who want to live in tranquility, but still be close to Barcelona. It has good communications by car on the AP-7 and C-16 motorways. As for public transport, there are intercity buses that connect the different parts of the neighborhood. Connections with other parts of the city are not that good. The FGC Valldoreix train station is located in the eastern part of the neighborhood and is quite far for those who live in the rest of the area.
