aProperties, a real estate consulting firm specializing in the office and luxury residential segments, belonging to the aFinance Group, has recently closed the lease of more than 1,000 square meters of office space for VICIO, which will be used as the company's headquarters in Barcelona.
The building, a former theater located in the renowned Gracia district of the Catalan capital, has been refurbished, combining the original structural elements with renovated spaces that are much more functional and adapted to the spirit of the brand. Despite being located in a neighborhood that stands out for its predominantly narrow streets, the office chosen by VICIO receives abundant natural light. Large skylights, glass enclosures and balcony windows create a bright environment.
Its flexible distribution typology makes it an extremely versatile office space. It has both areas adapted for office use and others that can be used as an auditorium or large meeting space. In the latter sense, the central core of the building stands out as a triple-height agora with an exposed roof structure. This space has had a special intervention to create a Playground focused on sharing and entertainment, including as star pieces a DJ station and two giant slides.
The implementation and interior design has been carried out by External Reference, the benchmark studio in the design of spaces, having carried out projects for brands as significant as WOW Concept, Bershka or Moritz.
VICIO is the digital restaurant born in Barcelona at the beginning of the pandemic that has achieved a growth of 900% and a turnover of almost 4 million euros in its first year. It is a different concept of food that its creators, the chef and entrepreneur Aleix Puig, winner of the MasterChef program, and his partner, the also entrepreneur Oriol de Pablo, were clear that it should be based on quality. Under this premise, they have created a real brand with a lot of personality, which goes beyond a restaurant and constitutes a whole experience, from the moment you order until you finish eating.
